L'Art.2 del Protocollo prevede l'obbligo di un ambiente agonistico reale e non limitato a singole tecniche o armamenti, nel quale effettuare la sperimentazione del soggetto storico [2]. I primi due Artt. del Protocollo di ricerca di ArsDimicandi rispettano esattamente ciò che facevano gli Antichi stessi nelle medesime discipline da combattimento, e permettono al nostro lavoro la dimostrabilità e la ripetibilità dei risultati conseguiti.
Il terzo ma non ultimo pilastro del Protocollo di ricerca (Art.3) è il rispetto assoluto delle fonti storiche, senza preferenza alcuna per l'archeologia, l'epigrafia, la letteratura o l'iconografia [3]. Non esiste modo infatti di configurare un vantaggio preciso di una disciplina sulle altre, senza cadere nell'incertezza o nel libero arbitrio. Per tali motivi il nostro approccio considera reali tutte le manifestazioni dei soggetti storici sino a prova contraria, rispettando le Fonti con scrupolo estremo e decondizionato da mode e opinioni correnti, mai definitive.
Il rigore della esplorazione scientifica, abbinato alla verifica empirica delle discipline nonchè alla volontà di non dare nulla per scontato e di non fermarsi alle apparenze, costituisce la nostra chiave di lettura, la nostra filosofia. Il successo internazionale di cui godiamo, in Italia, Spagna, Germania, Svizzera, Gran Bretagna, Croazia e altri paesi europei, è il frutto di questo rigore, nonchè del coraggio con cui portiamo avanti qualunque argomento, qualunque ipotesi ricostruttiva, anche la più ostica, col solo desiderio di volere la verità.
Essere Dimicandiano
La peculiarità del nostro Codice di Procedura necessita della formazione di uno Staff di atleti, di combattenti ben preparati. In ciò vi è il secondo aspetto del successo di ArsDimicandi, e di cui andiamo particolarmente fieri: quello di interpretare questi soggetti, l'Atletica Pesante, la Gladiatura e l'Esercito Romano, non solo con realismo e persuasione, ma anche e soprattutto con lo spirito etico e morale necessario. Non è solo un fatto di dura e necessaria disciplina, senza le quali il rischio di farsi male è alto; in ArsDimicandi si impara a provvedere a sè stessi, a pensare in anticipo a ciò che è necessario per non rimanere congelati in una Missione militare, a non rimanere soli in una battaglia, a non farsi schiacciare dalla paura in un anfiteatro, a rinunciare a mangiare di più per non lasciare altri affamati.
Questo ambiente sociale, che noi definiamo "naturale" per eccellenza, sviluppa gradualmente il senso di equità e giustizia, e questi parametri rappresentano i capisaldi di quel medesimo IVS ROMANVM che i nostri militari e gladiatori devono imparare a interpretare fisicamente, fino al punto di portarselo a casa. Un grande laboratorio umano dunque, che non si sottrae alla punizione e alla vergogna, se necessario, e che proprio per questo motivo si fonda sulla meritocrazia e sull'onore, vera e propria scuola di valori che attraversano la storia per sgorgare nel nostro XXI secolo.

The Art.2 of the Protocol foresees the obligation of a real competitive environment and not limited to single techniques or armaments, in which to make the experimentation of the historical subject [2-look]. The first two Artts. of the Protocol of search of ArsDimicandi exactly respect what the Ancients made in the same fight disciplines, and they allow our job the demonstration and the ripetiitively of the achieved results.
The third one but not last pillar of the Protocol of search (Art.3) it is the absolute respect of the historical Sources, without preference for the archaeology, the epigraphy, the literature or the iconography [3-look]. Way doesn't exist in fact to shape a precise advantage of a discipline on the others, without falling in the uncertainty or in the free will. For such motives our approach considers real all the demonstrations of the historical subjects actually to contrary test, respecting the Sources with extreme scruple and deconditionated from fashions and current opinions, never definitive.
The rigor of the scientific exploration, combined to the empirical verification of the disciplines as well as to the wish not to give anything for discounted, constitutes our key of reading our philosophy. The international success of which we enjoy, in Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Croathia and other European countries, it is the fruit of this rigor, as well as of the courage with which we bring forth whatever matter, whatever reconstructing hypothesis also the most tiresome, with the just desire to want the truth.

The peculiarity of our Code of Procedure needs the formation of a Staff of athletes, of good prepared fighters. In this there's the second aspect of the success of ArsDimicandi, of which we're particularly fierce: that to interpret these subjects, the Heavy athletics, the Gladiatura and the Roman Army not only with realism and persuasion, but also and above all, with the necessary ethical and moral Spirit. It is not only a fact of hard and necessary discipline, without which the risk to hurt himself is tall; in ArsDimicandi it is learned to handle itself same, to think in advance about what is necessary for not to remain frozen in a military Mission, not to be alone in a battle, not to make to be crushed by the fear in amphitheater, to give up eating more for not leaving other hungry.
This social environment, that we define "natural" for excellence, it gradually develops the sense of equity and justice, and these parameters represent the pillar of that same IVS ROMANVM that our soldiers and gladiatorial they have to learn to physically interpret up to bring him to home. A great human laboratory therefore, that doesn't escape to the punishment and the shame, if necessary, and that really for this motive him deep on the meritocracy and on the honor, real school of values that crosses the history to gush out in our XXI century.
